Job Description


We’re taking a fresh approach to the way insurance works in New Zealand. We’re looking for an exceptional Claims Handler who can inspire and lead through operational excellence and a commitment to customer service to join our hard-working and fast-growing team.
 
We are seeking a candidate to help our business grow and succeed in a challenging and changing environment. You will be responsible for:
  • managing and oversee the claims process
  • understanding and conveying the inner workings of the policies being claimed against
  • managing the cost of claims, keeping a commercial perspective in line with best-practice methodology
  • improving workflow management and visibility in the claims portfolio
  • identifying, preparing and rolling out process refinement
  • providing dedicated leadership to and development of your team
  • providing advice and utilising technical specialists within the organisation
  • maintaining relationships across all internal and external stakeholders
  • ensuring that accuracy and expectations around time frames are met – or exceeded.
