This business needs a well rounded actuary who is commercially astute, has experience in contributing to strategy development as well as great with the hands on detail of actuarial work.
You'll be part of the executive team and you'll be tasked with a broad position, particularly in the set up phase where you'll have responsibility for pricing, valuations and reporting.
Working closely with the external consultants will also be a priority as they will continue to sign off on work completed.
Your background will include;
- Significant experience in life insurance ideally across direct and retail
- Completed actuarial qualification (FIAA or equivalent)
- Experience across pricing, valuations and/or reporting
- Experience with NZ reporting standards highly desirable
