Our client is a leading insurance business in New Zealand; one that is firmly focused on building the knowledge and experiences of its employees, and creating genuine career development and progression internally.
Working within the Reinsurance team, this newly created position has a purpose of increasing the businesses capability through insights drawn from increased data usage and modelling techniques.
Your experience will come with depth of knowledge and understanding of analysis and/or modelling. This is a position where you'll be required to source, interpret and then recommend outcomes based on the data you have analysed. Prior experience working in, or consulting to, the insurance industry is essential.
As a senior in the team, you'll take a lead on the relationship management aspect of your clients, both internal and external. You'll also act as a mentor to the wider team while developing your leadership and influence.
This business will develop your skills and knowledge across multiple segments of the insurance market. As a business that strives for continuous improvement, you'll be driven to broaden your technical skill set as well as build upon your leadership and influencing skills. Strengthening the internal talent pipeline is a priority, as is ensuring there are succession plans in place.
