Mitch is an Associate Director - Broking at Ensure Recruitment with over 15 years’ experience across the insurance industry, including roles in brokerage, direct broking, claims, account management, and sales. For the past three years, he has specialised in recruitment across Australasia, focusing on the commercial broking sector.
He partners with a broad range of clients, from large international broking houses through to local independent firms, helping them attract and secure talent across all levels—from broker support and technical roles through to senior leadership appointments. Over the past two years in New Zealand alone, Mitch has placed more than 60 brokers into new roles and, in 2025, was recognised as Sourcr Insurance Recruiter of the Year based on candidate and client feedback.
Mitch brings strong technical insurance expertise from his own industry background, having worked directly with commercial clients across a wide range of risks, including property, liability, food and beverage, and complex or hard-to-place international placements.
He is highly focused on building long-term relationships with both candidates and clients, taking the time to understand their needs, motivations, and growth objectives, and aligning the right people with the right opportunities. Mitch maintains strong relationships across most major broking houses and has developed a broad and active talent network across the insurance market.
