Your role will involve:

• Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
• Developing your own client network and growing your portfolio.
• Understanding clients' personal and financial circumstances to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Advising on personal risk insurance, including life, health, trauma and income protection.
• Supporting business owners with insurance solutions to protect their businesses and financial interests.
• Identifying opportunities to assist clients with wider financial needs, including KiwiSaver. 
• Providing ongoing reviews and advice as clients' circumstances change.
• Working towards clear business goals while maintaining high standards of client care and professional conduct.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience in financial advice, ideally within personal risk and life and health insurance.
• A client-first mindset and a genuine interest in helping people.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness and the motivation to grow a client base.
• The ability to work independently, manage your own workload and take ownership of your results. 
• A willingness to continue learning and developing your advice capabilities.
• The relevant New Zealand financial advice qualifications.
