Working alongside the Underwriting & Claims Lead, you’ll help review current underwriting and claims practices and shape future-state frameworks, decision-making and ways of working.

About the role

• Review underwriting and claims frameworks, practices and decision-making
• Identify gaps and opportunities against industry good practice
• Co-design frameworks, controls and operational guidance
• Help improve approaches to disclosures, misrepresentation, remedies and claims handling
• Provide practical recommendations and an implementation roadmap
• Combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery

About you

We’re looking for a senior insurance professional with hands-on underwriting and/or claims experience, plus a background in designing, reviewing and improving insurance frameworks, processes, governance or ways of working. Life and health insurance experience is preferred.

You’ll be comfortable getting into the detail, challenging current thinking and working with stakeholders to develop and implement practical solutions that improve governance, consistency and outcomes.
