I’m working with a broking house in Dunedin that’s offering a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Broker to lead the charge in building a truly advice-led general insurance presence.

About the Opportunity:

The team is expanding its service offering and is now looking to add a general insurance specialist to the Dunedin team, and there’s a clear opportunity for the right broker to establish a foothold in the commercial space and make a real impact.

The Role:

• Manage and grow an existing SME portfolio
• Receive over qualified leads to grow your book
• Deliver high-quality, advice-led insurance solutions across SME, trades, professionals, and rural
• Collaborate with a well-connected and highly respected team, including senior leadership based on-site

What They’re Looking For:

• Strong technical capability in SME risks
• Confident, self-sufficient broker comfortable managing clients end-to-end
• Level 5 qualified is a must
• Ideally suited to someone early or mid-career who is driven, ethical, and eager to build something meaningful
