I’m working with a broking house in Dunedin that’s offering a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Broker to help grow their advice-led general insurance offering.  This is more than a standard broking role- it’s a chance to step into a market with plenty of opportunity, backed by a well-regarded, values-driven business that already has strong community ties and a solid reputation in the life insurance space.

About the Opportunity:
The team is expanding its service offering and is looking to bring a general insurance specialist into the Dunedin office. There’s a genuine opportunity here for the right broker to build a presence in the commercial space and make the role their own.

The Role:

• Manage and grow an existing SME portfolio
• Receive qualified leads to help build your book
• Provide practical, advice-led insurance solutions across SME, trades, professionals, and rural clients
• Work alongside a well-connected and supportive team, including senior leadership on-site

What They’re Looking For:

• Solid technical capability across SME risks
• Confident, self-sufficient broker comfortable managing clients end-to-end
• Level 5 qualification is essential
• Someone with a drive to succeed
