We are working with a national broking house with offices across New Zealand, and they’re looking for an experienced Commercial Broker to join their Auckland team.

You’ll be managing a $500k income book of business, covering a mix of industries. This is a pure broking role – building relationships, delivering trusted advice, and providing tailored insurance solutions to a wide range of commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across multiple industries
• Build strong, long-term relationships through proactive service and trusted advice
• Provide customised insurance solutions aligned to each client’s needs and risk profile
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Mentor and support junior brokers where needed

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a commercial insurance portfolio
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products and the local market
• Skilled communicator who can build rapport and lead client conversations with confidence
• Experience with complex and specialised risks, including financial lines and trades
• A team player who enjoys contributing to the professional growth of others
• Level 5 Qualification required
