We’re partnering with an award winning commercial brokerage that’s on the lookout for a Domestic Broker as part of their planned growth across NZ.

This is an opportunity to step into a relationship-driven broking role with strong referral pipelines and clear progression into more complex accounts over time.

Whether you’re a broker support ready for a step up or an experienced domestic broker looking for a cleaner structure and better earning potential, this role offers stability, growth, and autonomy within a brokerage with a national footprint.

The Role
You’ll manage the continued growth of the domestic book through warm referrals and lead chasing — no cold calling required.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing new business leads from trusted referral partners
• Growing your portfolio with managed admin from your broker support
• Handling renewals alongside ongoing new business activity
• Providing tailored advice across domestic and private asset risks
• Work closely with your broker support
• Gradually move into more complex accounts as your experience grows

About You

• Previous experience in domestic insurance broking (preferred), or experience as a broker support 
• Comfortable managing new business and explaining policies to clients
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, organised, and commercially minded
• Keen to grow your career in a supportive but performance-focused environment

What’s on Offer

• Base salary: $70,000 – $80,000 (depending on experience)
