The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a broker with strong personal lines experience to take ownership of an established domestic portfolio—servicing clients across Auckland. You’ll handle renewals, new business, plus a steady workflow of client queries, endorsements etc. It’s a fast-paced but rewarding environment where your communication skills and attention to detail will shine.

The Team & Leadership:

• You’ll report to the national manager—a highly supportive team leader who is always keen to help out on day-to-day queries.
• The greater team is made up of about 10 domestic brokers, with a team of 45 brokers across New Zealand
• You’ll also work closely with the commercial and specialist broking teams, as well as life, health, and claims teams.

The Role:

• Manage an established domestic insurance portfolio alongside a friendly and social team of five brokers
• Manage pre-renewal, endorsements, renewals, remarkets
• Liaise with clients over phone/email for policy changes, queries, and renewals
• Collaborate with broker support/admin for seamless service

About You:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in domestic insurance broking
• Level 5 qualified
• Strong admin and systems skills
• Reliable and consistent
• Strong communicator who fits in socially and culturally—the team enjoys lunches, laughs, and supporting each other
