We are currently representing a well-established financial services organisation in Wellington that is looking to appoint an Investment Adviser to join its growing Advice team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships, providing quality investment advice and developing a successful portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and new investment clients.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' financial circumstances, goals and aspirations.
• Provide tailored investment and financial advice that puts the client's interests first.
• Conduct regular client reviews and ensure investment strategies remain aligned with changing needs and objectives.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through referrals, and networking.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key professional contacts.
• Contribute to regional business planning and growth initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of compliance, record keeping and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with Adviser Support, Advice and Quality & Assurance teams.
• Keep up to date with investment markets, industry developments and opportunities to enhance the client experience.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced financial services professional who is commercially minded, relationship-focused and passionate about delivering quality client outcomes.

You will ideally bring:

• Previous experience within financial services, ideally in an investment or wealth advice environment.
• Relevant financial advice qualifications, including the ability to provide regulated financial advice in New Zealand.
• Strong investment knowledge and an understanding of client portfolio management.
• A proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Strong business development and networking skills.
• A confident and professional communication style.
• Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• High levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
• A genuine commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
