We are currently partnering with a leading brokerage that is in a significant growth phase across New Zealand. As part of their expansion, we are seeking experienced Senior Brokers and Leaders to help grow regional hubs across the Mid-North Island.

This is not a traditional “inherit a book” type of role. Instead this is a rare opportunity to help shape a regional presence from the ground up, backed by a well-established brand with strong investment appetite and long-term growth plans.

About the Opportunity
You will be joining a business that is actively expanding its footprint in New Zealand through both organic growth and talent acquisition. With an established national presence already in place the focus now is on building strong regional capability and market leadership outside of the main centres.

You will have a high degree of autonomy, effectively running your own portfolio and developing your own pipeline while being supported by an established national infrastructure including broking support, claims specialists, and operational resources.

Importantly you will not be starting from a completely cold base. The business is actively investing in market presence, referral networks, and lead generation activity to support early traction and momentum.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and growing your own commercial insurance portfolio
• Developing strong relationships across your regional market
• Leveraging warm leads, referrals, and brand presence to develop pipeline
• Working autonomously while being supported by a national infrastructure
• Contributing to the establishment and growth of a regional hub

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Commercial Broker (Senior or Leadership level preferred / 10+ years)
• Strong existing relationships within your regional market
• A track record of winning and retaining commercial clients
• Confidence working autonomously and with full flexibility
• A strong focus on relationship development and new business growth
• Someone who is motivated by building something (not just maintaining it)
