Senior Wealth Adviser

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused
Senior Investment Adviser to join a growing financial services team based in Auckland.
This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality investment advice, building long-term client relationships, and growing funds under management through a custodial wrap platform.
You will play a key role in managing and servicing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial goals are met through tailored, compliant investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:
- Grow Funds Under Management (FUM) via a preferred custodial wrap platform
- Provide ongoing client service, including regular investment reviews
- Prepare and present Statements of Advice (SOAs) and client reports
- Manage client relationships and develop referral partnerships
- Maintain accurate client records, including AML and compliance documentation
- Handle client enquiries via phone and email in a timely manner
- Administer investment platforms and support transaction processing
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation and regulatory obligations
- Contribute to marketing initiatives (presentations, webinars, articles, videos)
- Collaborate with internal team members and external providers
- Participate in continuous improvement and professional development
About You To succeed in this role, you will have:
Essential: - Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a client-facing investment adviser role
- New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5)
- Strong investment knowledge and experience managing client portfolios
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Technical Skills: - Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM systems and investment platforms
- Strong report writing and documentation capability
Personal Attributes: - Client-first mindset with strong ethical standards
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Empathy and ability to work with a diverse client base
- Proactive, positive, and solutions-focused attitude
Desirable: - Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification
- Experience with wrap platforms (e.g. Consilium, FNZ, Aegis, OneAnswer)
